We've seen the moment

and now set the future

we've already past the torment

and can now pick our suitor

We suppressed the odds

and gained our fair right

from being beaten with rodds 

to having our present look bright

Though the cost was great

we've learned to recover

we've moved past the hate

we are no longer pushed over

From agony and tears

to pushing past our fears

from being divided

to now being one sided

We are all different colors

we should all be proud

we've proved to be scholars
