The sun shines down

Erasing the world of every frown

The lake in front of me glistens with light

My heart smiles at this beautiful sight

The autum leaves are orange and yellow

This scene makes my spirit oh so mellow

Everything that I see in front of me screams the word peace

It says all is well in the autum breeze

I ponder on the things to come

The future can be scary for some 

But oh no, not for me

I feel at peace when I sit in nature and just be

The outdoors gives me hope

A breath of fresh air helps me cope

With this thing called life 

Nature makes me think one day I'll maybe get it right
