the person in the shadows of mental health

Mon, 09/08/2014 - 10:34 -- srbwls

a shadow not seen,

i like it that way,

fear of the world,

the judge meant they say,

i know if i come out,

they'll judge my mind,

my inbalanced mind,

that i cannot change,

i'm a shadow,

its what i like,

it safe,

no judgment inside,

so i'm an emotion roller coaster,

i can't change that,

so i hear things that arn't there,

i can't change that,

you fear me i understand,

you fear i may hurt you,

i understand that too,

but you chose to judge,

to push me in the ice,

to hurt me,

both phsyical and emotional,

so i like the shadows,

just me no pain,

i have my family,

they come a day,

so im not alone,

just not seen by you,

my shadow is warm,

my happiness,

so when you learn not to judge,

i'll join you on the top,

by for now i stay in my shadow,

till the world fines the truth,

that a mental illness is not a crime,

or something to fear,

but to learn of and to help grow,

to help us get what we need,

because with that we're just like you,

i am,

with the help i get,

i'm just like you look,

normal,

i even act it too,

but once you learn to truth,

i go back to my shadow,

for you say so many hurtfull things,

so i hope that this will help you learn,

for people like me that all we want,

to be able to stop hiding in are shadowy home all day,

and to be able to live up there with you.
