Theres this place 

you don’t want to go

 

thats lacking everything

it is dull

It sits in the dark all by its self

and has never come out

 

where nothing is good

its in bad health

Just a hint of light 

to give it some hope

 

but it’s not there

it’s to hard to fight

it’s like I am stuck

inside a deep dark hole trying to climb my way out

 

but when i start to get close 

I get struck

Struck down back into my pit

right where i started 

 

no way to get out

maybe ill rest for a bit

Exhausted and beat 

there is no hope 

 

but something in my head

says get back on your feet

As i stand up I feel stronger 

Theres something inside

 

that tells me it’s only

for a while longer

I’lll take it from here

 

I've been here all along

its time to be set free

Inside my soul theres this place

full of joy, peace and glory

 

I am a daughter of the Father

my pit is now covered 

in flowers and vines 

 

its beauty is full

it has fully recovered

Little do you know that pit was me

no longer a devastation

 

For my Father in heaven

has set me free
