Power in difference

Some people call it luck

But what do you see

I see a great shot

I see a bright mind

How can you not see talent

Why does your prejudice get in the way of your judgement

Why does skin, accent, sexual orientation, or race matter

Why do people hate on different

Aren’t we all different

We can’t all be the same or the world wouldn’t be the world

We wouldn’t have what we have

No originality

No diversity

So why do we hate the one thing that we need

Why do we constantly shut out the people who can help

What’s wrong with todays world that we have to succumb to the pressure

Other’s opinions of people shouldn’t be yours

Make up your own mind

Be yourself

White or black or brown

Old or young

Rich or poor

We’re all here for the moment

We live and we die

We are no better than the people we pass on the street

We are no different from any of the 7+ billion people in the world

We are people and we need to treat others like that too

We make the world better one act at a time

Go out and change the world in small ways

Maybe one day it will pay off

YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
