Random Poem

Don't forget the roads you've walked or the roads you denied
Don't forget who've been there for you from day one
Forget the sh** you've done it's not too late to turn back to the way you once were
Don't deny your heritage or recreate your life to please another
Please remember who you were once before
Before the sh** you called home
Before the people you called homies
Forget what people say it ain't you
You got the heart of a lion but the mind of a maniac
Don't let yourself become the problem. Be the solution.
Everyone wants you to fall. Laugh in their face rise to the top.
Higher than the ceiling like ooo la la look who it is
It's not too late to turn back and be who you were before
Before the media intervened. Before we listened to what we read
Beauty ain't skin deep it's heart deep.
Forget the sh** you've been through
Forget the scars on your wrists and body honey you battling the war
Remember when we were kids how things were once before
Remember who you are and never let go.
I'll be the bright light in the dark to guide you through
I'll be your angel in the night watching over you.
Forget the past and live for tomorrow
Most of all remember who you are and never let go.
