IS THIS REALLY GOD'S PLAN?

The church is centered around these self righteous preachers

focused on a paycheck and not focused on being our teachers

"the power of god is mighty" is what im told

yet the influences from the church are fiscally based and fiscally bold

getting shunned and ignored by the minds of the closed minded

teaching children to give up on things they haven't even tried yet

but I feel a sense of ignorance when I'm in the temple

how can good meet bad and still seem to be so simple

Alleluhah! Alleluhah! Sing from the heavens up above!!

singing so much praise, yet such praise contains no love

how can your god create perfection in so many ways

but you turn around and speak about how your god hates gays

you are free to hate, shun, disgust and they aren't free to love?

I suppose this means that their faith in god isn't strong enough

Jesus will be found in the very bottom of society

but if you found the same man today than surely you would smite him

wearing a cross around your neck doesn't make you a good Christian

just like knowing the entire bible doesn't put you in a better position

every single definition of God is completely different

a man hits his wife and he's still looked at as a reverend

And days turn to weeks, than weeks become months and then become years

your life is a blur and your face is soaked with tears

All because you were told you will not be forgiven

you've sinned once to much and your life is no longer worth living

Faith is a good thing and I myself do have it

but the CHURCH has made social ignorance

a bad habit

You see faith creates hope, it creates love and saves peoples lives

but the church judges, lies and steals to your demise

The Bible was written by man, it's full of stories half true and half false

it was written at a time when they focused on others faults

imagine a young world where not much was understood

if you saw something you found weird you too would call it not good

Taking the Bible literally is a really big mistake

but if you take it for what its worth THEN you will know your fate

The Church nowadays is an overbearing hand

they leave us all confused with a construed view of a man

And I know there is a list of the things that we have all mistook

but you are no better than anyone just because youve read the book

But not all churches are bad there are many good views

but the money hungry priests leave me standing here confused

Jesus was a real man with a life not fully known

but Jesus was a poor man has this knowledge turned to stone?

how can a rich man try to describe a poor mans words

with Jesus' name he gained his wealth

and that is just absurd

knowing the holy gospel will lead you a happy life

but dont judge those whose Jesus name they do not cry

I've never seen a better man than ye of good faith

but ive never seen a more sorry man than ye that followed the church

faith is a real thing while the church is an act

good faith leads you forward while a bad church pushes you back

a man of no faith can do all he enjoys

and a priest can get away with touching little boys

its a hard topic to look at but it happens everyday

this could happen right in front of him and not a single word the bishop would say
