Red Lights are Too Blinding

America wears her garters in the red light

Polishes her face with old cake

She’s a pretty girl

Appealing to all in her crowd

She’s a beaut in the dark

A swine in the light

She beckons her lovers into her bed

And spits them out when she’s done

Her legs are open wide

Her cavity is being filled

The fluid runs down her thighs

Her eyes brighten with greed

With each new man her desires deepen

More and more she wants

With each new man her face crumbles into the dust

More and more cake she needs

She shakes her ass

And twirls her hair

Oh what a pretty girl you are

But don’t come in the light

One day she will remove her caking layers

And reveal what’s behind

That day our desires won’t outweigh

The cost of our ignorance

No more malice, no more hate

We will make love the right way.
