Not knowing where, or to whom
Are my feet placing me so
Not knowing the purpose, or for what outcome
Are my legs moving me so
The directions I will change, and choose to go
Are things that only my hips will know

The hidden power to supply me
Comes from the core within
Protecting me from the pain of sorrow
My chest does when it expands
Always reaching not knowing what to grasp
Are my arms that continues to extend

They ask me where I am to go
But my mouth can’t say when
“Well, try again!” they say
But my nose can’t pick up a scent
“Where do you think?” they ask
Sadly I cannot foresee when

But my heart and soul told me they know
And to keep running and rely on faith until then
