She never thought the day

She never thought the day would come;

When pen, paper, and she, were one,

but what was a young foreign girl to do ?

When no one could hear her silent cries.

All she had was her notebook, who promised to hear.

Every night it's pages would calmly wipe her tears

and in it she found peace.

She never thought the day would come;

When pen, paper, and she, were done

She found herself longing for the beauty of life .

As she grew, she realized

that her notebook would one day be no more.

So she put her notebook in a safe place.

Out into the world, is where she went

and as she went, she found others like her

and in them, she found companionship.

But one day she realized that she shouldn't put her faith in humans

as she struggled through many heartaches and dissapointments

she learned from them, crediting life for teaching her

Her greatest accomplishment was accepting God

and in him she found the greatest love.

But she never forgot the first thing that lent her an ear

she learned a lot from it

surely her story is still being told
