A Single Moment

cars slamming, horns honking, vehicles stalling,
Lights flashing, colors clashing, and budgets slashing,
50 steps, 20 reps, and an utter feeling and need to repress...
The white noise and lies in society under duress.

And long for the moment of single, solitary, silence

It isn’t enough to have a house you need a home,
it isn’t enough that you have a park you have a desire to roam,
to see the world of green and fresh and life,
and not be encaged in the city,
where its as easy to have lies as truth as easy to have love as strife.

And no one, no one feels complete in the mass,
seeking the answers that never really last.
You need to find the peace the time
to realize your potential,
your individuality and rhyme.

We cannot see forward and cannot see back
The foresight of freedom is what we lack...
We need to take a stance.

A Single. Solitary. moment.

For in that moment is love
and in that moment you might meet with god above.
Its in silence,
that you can find your balance.

follow your heart, not the world
Follow your dreams not the money
for money is death and joy is life.

And that begins with a single moment.
