So Long

Thu, 01/05/2017 - 22:04 -- AlexBly

The World is in flames

And there's no one to blame but herself.

Neglecting love, for so long;

Missing respect, for so long;

Forgetting communication, for so long;

Misunderstanding, for so long.

The World tries hard to say so long

To her negative attributes

But it seems to be a struggle,

The World limps and wobbles

From the wounds she possess

Falling down in a deafeated mess.

The World weeps and howls

Pushing away the ones that care

For she is blinded by the riches in the air.

The World wonders why she is like this;

The World wonders why she suffers;

The World wonders why she cries and night;

The only one who can answer

Is the one inside.
