Now that the anxiety and impatience is over.
It's replaced with hopelessness and horror.
He's watching, waiting for the time to come.
This place is wrecked and in for it.
And the question lingers on, "Will we make it?"

Oh shout your rage, shout your rage for the broken.
Show no fear, show no fear for the ignorant.
Whisper prayers, whisper prayers to the Holy One.
And sing the song, sing the song for the hopeful.

Claims of the end start to begin.
The passionless think they're golden.
"Can we run away?" they say.
We'll stand our ground and the song will play.
Hold on all hopeful.
And sing your song, sing your song until they hear.
Let it rise, let it rise loud and clear.
