Stop and See

Wed, 09/28/2016 - 13:44 -- ACME

70 mile per hour impact
You're bleeding and broken and cracked
The person you hit becomes part of the facts
All because you got side tracked
Wait 'til you're stopped to answer the phone
Don't eat until you're at home
You look great, leave the makeup alone
Stop and think of the gravestones
Your coffee spilled just pull over
Before you clean up the mess that's leftover
Please don't text and drive
Doing so ruins lives
If we let drivers see what distractions can do
Maybe we'd save a life or two
If maybe they thought about the result
They would bring distracted driving to a halt
