Story Time

Every inch you know

best; with a slight

twist of view

Just a thought and you're

there; not a moment too soon

Each unique as a

memory, so distant yet true

or perhaps as a dream or a nightmare or so

It's cold and it burns

just a swipe and you're there

You search and you pray

so lost and confused

just waiting for the rush full of life

With your pain pouring out,

you heart feels at ease

Suddenly a jolt back to

reality, with the void

seemingly relieved

You sit and you wonder when

your wounds are fated to heal

Just waiting 'til the time these

thoughs creepback in

line and strike you weak

You fight for control while

you're controlled by your past

Wishing one day to never look

back on the story you wrote

oh so vividly clear
