Struggle

Jeremiah 29:11

11 For I know what I have planned for you,’ says the Lord.

I have plans to prosper you, not to harm you.

I have plans to give you a future filled with hope.

Struggle

Maybe all in all treasures are reaching out

Life Himself breathing opportunity in my path

It is hard for me to drown out the daily chaos,

which makes me loose my focus and my past

Daily occupation in a struggle long foreseen

Existing a sure habit through my choices

Monotonous repetition frowns through time

To join the chorus squarely with off-beat choices

How to escape this destiny that seems chosen by self?

Where to find the desire that I possible want too?

Maybe indifference to it is forming our own hell

That we accept reluctantly like the catching of the flu

There is only one answer and we know where to get it

But that would be giving up the futility in my life

To give up control of the issues where I have none

and to give up the leadership that really is my wife’s
