Summer

Summer is finally here

We can stay out till the stars begin to shine

We can sit by the water and look at it glitter

In clothes that don’t make us want to die

I want to look at the sun at its most high

And feel the warmth and tingle of the wind

As I sit there and contemplate what to do with all this time

Because summer has arrived and so has relief
