Take the Wheel

When we take over the wheel,
in this twisting road of life.
We start to make the change,
that will one day end all strife.

The heroes before us,
they were brave beyond words.
Stepping of a bus,
and facing angry hoards.

Even when they knew the price,
they knew the reward was much more.
They decided to roll the dice,
in hope to open a new door.

They made themselves take control,
no matter what the circumstances.
They stepped up into a leadership role,
to lead their people to new chances.

If you want to see a change,
you have to take a stand.
If you see it in your range,
grab it by the hand.

When we take over the wheel,
in this twisting road of life.
We start to make the change,
that will one day end all strife.
