Thank you Lord for "Grace"
Leviticus 24:19-20 New English Translation
19 If a man inflicts an injury on his fellow citizen, just as he has done it must be done to him— 20 fracture for fracture, eye for eye, tooth for tooth—just as he inflicts an injury on another person that same injury must be inflicted on him.
What man produces?
I guess it is for certain that low quality lives the longest
Well! I mean in the time where most men think it counts
A form of existence that seems dressed up for a wedding
To make vows to each other as with fancy words they drown
It does not need to fit now as it is just to show-off
I did, you did and all will bless us for the coming day
But when the week is over there is a quick awakening
And the freedom, that you sought, turns into a price to pay
Now you have to be molded, but you’re brittle to the core
The flexibility that you hungered for left you so long ago
Now with a chisel and a hammer, one removes the sharp edges
And then will sand you down until you shine like vertigo
The walls look in good shape, but the floor is rotten
I would have never noticed because vinyl-covered all
But now there’s some awareness that will not ever leave me
Until that floor is fixed otherwise someone will crash and fall
Is it so with humans? They may appear kind of pretty
Until one removes the surface and discover what’s underneath
Maybe parts are rotten and ready for collapsing
Dragging all that lean on them downwards into a sleaze
Humans are so much like the products that they make
Not really too reliable, but ready for a quick fix
Built for the temporal breaking down before their time
Always defending quality and always in armed conflict
