Today's History

James 5:3    New English Translation (NET Bible)

3 Your gold and silver have rusted, and their rust will be a witness against you.

It will consume your flesh like fire. It is in the last days that you have hoarded treasure!

Lively pictures portray death and all this for survival

Blood spilled in great quantity for the welfare of the strongest

All seems like a constant quest in a way now called: “normal.

As forms of bestiality expose the darkness in the heart’s corners

Instinctively the human mind draws lines of civilization

Observe these as “natural” boundaries as long as things go well

In history, we’ll often discover to our consternation

That evil surfaces in quantity far above just show and tell

Millions of lives in neglect like they represent no value

Whatever besets man that his blood turns into acid?

Reality then departed as he has no insight into the truth

As he butchers all he can at the expense of the masses
