A Truth Behind Self-proclaimed Freedom and Bravery

"America is the land of the free"

But only if you're of the majority

And you don't dream of questioning the authorities.

"America is the land of the free"

But your basic human rights it can't guarantee

And it can't assist you in getting an academic degree.

"America is the land of the free"

But you see now it's only up to a certain degree

Because the lowest it will accept it the bourgeoisie.

"America is the home of the brave"

Yet to hide behind violence is what we crave

Because we're too scared to end up in a grave.

"America is the home of the brave"

Yet we live with the intent to deprave

Because moral corruption is our best save.

"America is the home of the brave"

Yet we constantly live as if at a rave

Ignoring that which will cause our world to concave.

"And what so proudly we hailed"

As we didn't yet know that all would have failed

And that America's true colors would soon be unveiled.

So sad to see our beloved home

Turn into nothing short of a catacomb

As if fighting with our own like back in Ancient Rome.
