UNJUST JUDGES

Walking into the surgery room, the doctor looks sad,

Losing his only son to an accident, worse report he just had,

Emotional and in grief, he saves the dying lad,

And pardons the patient dad presumptions, who towards him acts fad

The nurse pats her back, as they walk past the waiting bay,

Her eyes tear filled, that she can’t trace her way,

Onlookers condemns her, for seeking attention not knowing her dismay,

Though looking fine, the cancer is slowly wasting her body away,

Annoyingly hooting, they insult the 94-year old man,

Tired and of a blurred vision, to the hospital he drives his van,

Inside lies his 63-year old diabetic son, whose clinics just gan,

Clueless about his plight, all trapped in the traffic to him throws ban

Not all have life smooth; many have battles of their own

To the world, our pain may not be seen or known,

But that doesn’t mean we all got it together deep down

Maybe all we need is a little mercy and empathy shown
