Oh, valiant friend in my past
Your memories have come at last!
Eyes, bright and shining,
Never dull or whining.
Rough times came, but you were there
Drying my tears and looking fair.
Your fur gleamed, rich with colors;
I believe I still hold your collars.
Remember when you drug me through the mud,
Thinking you were such a stud?
Oh, valiant friend, I remember thee well.
So long loving pet for I have heard your bell.
