Voice of the Voiceless

life

one word

one meaning

if you can breath

and if you can eat

and move

you. are. alive

but then why oh why

do brash beings claim differently

that you are alive when you are born

just, not before

if in week six a heartbeat beats

then

what makes you think

you

have the right

to beat the the life out of a fetus?

abortion is celebrated for death

but who celebrates the life

you stole?

some argue

abortion should be legal

because

“their body, their choice”

or more popular “women’s right”

if that pregnancy is an accident,

or they aren’t ready

or capable

of raising a child

why bring it into the world?

so if it is about women’s rights

then

what about children’s rights

you decide to use abortion as a contraceptive plan,

rather than abstinence.

but you know

abstinence is key

do not have sex

if you cannot

or will not

or do not want to

raise a child

you can’t expect to have sex and not be exempt from natures conquest

but rape exists,

these horrors we call rapists

infiltrate our nation

stealing innocence that is

not theirs for taking

possibly leaving

the unwilling recipient

with newfound motherhood

at the moment of conception.

you ARE a mother.

a caregiver

a nurturer

why do many say

an unborn baby

is not a baby

but a cluster of cells?

why do they think

a fetus

is not alive?

a child’s feet are ripped from its legs

And you call that “not alive?”

answer me this.

If a fetus isn’t human, then why is there a procedure to kill it.

these beings are often ripped

of the opportunity

to live a life outside the womb

they receive death

rather than blessed with life.

before you defend abortion,

know the facts behind what you are defending.

see, you were thought of

before birth,

before concetion

before you were alive

because of the written verse

Jeremiah 1:5

but honestly I ask you:

are you pro choice

or pro voice

a voice for the unborn

the ones who had no choice

see someplace else,

on the planet of Mars

bacteria

Is considered life

but here on earth,

a heartbeat is insignificant.

yes, you can have you choice,

but know that every action comes with a consequence.

Just remember,

I’m not pushing on your rights

I’m  pushing for life
