It’s one word that can say many things.
It can express someone’s feelings. It can show someone’s pain.
When it comes to poetry, anything can be said.
No matter what it says, anything it does say is different for everything
The reason I write poetry
It speaks to me, like a bee does the hive
Reflects on me, like a window does the sunlight
What is poetry?
A five letter word?
Something uttered by a person on the street?
Something that can show people the real you?
Or is it just something that’s there?
Just there like a bee
Like a window
Like the sunlight
