Without a "light" in heart

Psalm 17:8 New English Translation (NET Bible)

Protect me as you would protect the pupil of your eye!
Hide me in the shadow of your wings!

Dedication

I am dedicated now to search the darkness

without a light in heart I know this place so well

Every nook and corner ... from floor to ceiling

I have been here before as you surely can tell

It feels so comfy in my surrounding

This is a home I don’t want to leave

Here I’m not alone as habits are pounding

me into an image that I start to believe

It seems everyone lived here at some point of time

most stayed and wondered about the departed

I guess they feel sorry for the ones who are not here

who somewhere in the past had been outsmarted

Celebrate in doing ... what we want to do

we live only once ... glimmering in the sunset

Look at me and you ... dancing in the twilight

this won’t last too long ... close to our final “rest”
