A year in a poem

Everyday

New things affect and change us

Sometimes it is the fights and others is due to our friendships and losses

But a year ago we were not the same

We grow and change

We learn new things

We lose old things

But a year ago we were not the same

Friendship status

We all get in fights and have been told false things

Sometimes these fights change our perspective

A year ago i was not the same

The amount of times we have been told we would fail

Change us and our heart

They bring us down making our brain think we are not good enough

One year ago I was not the same

Beauty defines this world each and everyday

We have to have the perfect skin complection and baby blonde hair

A year ago I was not the same

The rebelious acts that us teenagers do

Changes our perspective on staying in all night

We sneak out and do things that shouldn't be done

One year ago I was not the same

Our thoughts and looks towards what and who we believe in change

We are told that, well their cannot be any god

We are told that god is watching out for us

12 months ago I was not the same

None of us were the same 12 months ago

We change, we see things, we grow, we become stronger

So no, I am not the same

I have grown and changed

I have proved the people who told me "I cannot" that I could

I have changed
