For You

Everyday I think about them and not me.

When I get dressed, I think who's going to comment and how?

Will they like the clothes I'm wearing or will they criticize them?

When I do my hair, I think about what they will say?

Do they want it curled or straightened?

Will they like it all up, all down, or half and half?

Every decision I make it decided by what's best for them.

Everything that I do is for them.

It always has been.

Someday it has to change.

One day I will get up and think what do I want to do today?

What would I like to wear today?

How would I like to wear my hair?

Do I like this?

Do I dislike that?

How does this make me feel?

Will I enjoy this or will I regret it?

In the future I won't be a doormat.

You will not walk all over me.

I will live for me, not you.

I will still care.

But I will not let you decide how I live my life.

Once I make a decision for myself you will continue to love me,

Or begin to hate me.

No matter what I will always love myself.

You cannot take that from me.

You are not who I should be living for.

I need to 100,000 percent me.

Not 2 percent.

If I continue to live for those who won't live for me.

My life will end in a whirl wind.

I will never find joy.

I will regret every step I've take.

Until the day I find my true self.

I will live for you.

Just know that your time is limited.

The experation date is coming soon.
