Poems from Vernalda Di Tanna

Vernalda Di Tanna (Vasto, 1997) is studying Humanities at Università degli Studi "Gabriele d'Annunzio" of Chieti-Pescara. Her first work is "Poesia: le nostre vite in versi..." (Linea Grafica Editore, 2013). In 2017 she is among the winners of the contest "Writing as You are. Poetry Life Together" organized by Terranova. She has collaborated with Alessandro Quasimodo on the project promoted by the Orizzonti magazine, "Alessandro Quasimodo reads The Italian Contemporary Poets, Vol. 1" (Aletti Editore, 2018). In 2018 she was among those mentioned at the "4th Salvatore Quasimodo International Prize for Literature". And she's finalist in the XV edition of the competition "Tra un fiore colto e l'altro donato". Some of her poems appeared in the clanDestino magazine, with an introduction by Davide Rondoni. She has reviewed Lawrence Ferlinghetti's "A Coney Island of the Mind" on Rai's first poetry blog "Poesia, di Luigia Sorrentino".
