When I stare into the fire
I see the devil dance
A deadly grin lays on his lips
A tempting offer rolling in his palm
Out I reach with...
I write because
Poetry is my monocle
It only covers a single eye
But still enhances my vision
There are bloodstains
In the wine.
Still she drinks,
licking her lips
Savoring the sweet
taste of revenge.
A slicing light
A burning pain
A smell of meat
There lays my leg.
From the stump
A shallow puddle
My life does not
Lay at my feet
But is...
My eyes are dry
My skull aches
Time to put the computer away.
