I have spent my entire life hiding the flaws that make up my entire appearance
The way my thighs spread out like the red sea when I sat down into a chair
The way my side profile was never particularly my favorite angle because my nose stuck out further than the other girls’
Or the way my sides are always confined by the high waist on my jeans to keep a slim looking figure the tabloids always boast about
Yet I am woman, and I am fearfully and wonderfully made
So I will cross my wide spread thighs
I will walk with my nose to the sky
And I will rip up the tabloids until they are in shreds like my previous self esteem
I am woman
Fearful
Wonderful
Woman am I
