All I Need Is A Good State of Mind
From judgement to criticism,
I can never get enough.
Why are people so filled with cynicism?
I try to be tough,
But I usually fail
Inside my head, I run around screaming.
It sounds like a beached whale.
I can't seem to find an escape.
Until I think harder.
I take myself on imaginary escapades.
I fly up in the sky, farther and farther.
Finally, I land in a beautiful land,
Untouched by the destructive hands
Of an undeserving man .
I feel better and float back down to Earth on rewind.
I can survive anything,
As long as I have a good state of mind.
