Lupe,Mos Def,Common,and other lyrical gents blastin through these headphones as i vent, yes this is my type.

You misjudge me before you even get to know me, or should i remind you of the cartoon character you claim i reflect?

Oh, how little you know me, the pain i feel, or the sadness i push back because i supposedly don't let that shit get to me and all encased in a beautiful smile.

And, all i can see someone saying.. a more level headed version of myself saying in that mirror is: GROW THE FUCK UP... things get hard because the world ain't all flowers and sunshine... but the parts that are happy like family and real, rare friends, accomplishments that go beyond your fears.. cherish those.. you may never know when you won't have another.
