Anything You Can Do

Anything you can do, I can do better
I'm sick of you telling me I'm dumb
Worthless
Nothing.

I'm sick of you telling me I'm a nag
Useless.

I provide for my kids in more ways than you know;
Feed them food on the table and pick out their clothes.
I care when they're sick, I grieve when they're gone.
I'm sick of you telling me I can't provide for them.

Money isn't everything.
Emotions mean more.
One day they'll realize that and run out your door.

Just because I'm a girl doesn't mean I'm not handy-
I fix up their messes in fact, yours too, on the daily.

Before you go yelling with your big beady eyes,
Why don't you sit back and realize your lies.

Men are not nurturing the way women are--
So shove that up your gym shorts and get up to par.
