To be a Bastard

To be a bastard is to be fatherless

To be a bastard is to have a father in Heaven

To be a bastard is to be without the Father in Heaven

To be a bastard is to hate your father

To be a bastard is to be hated by your father

To be a bastard is to have unmarried parents

To be a bastard is to have parents once married

To be a bastard is to be useless

To be a bastard is to be used for the wrong reasons

To be a bastard is to be really mean

To be a bastard is to have no one know what you do mean

To be a bastard is to be unreal

To be a bastard is to be confused with what is real

To be a bastard is to be abnormal

To be a bastard is to give in with the normal

To be a bastard is to be acknowledge as worthless

To be a bastard is for someone to acknowledge it

Well, I acknowledge that I used to be a bastard.

Until I remembered that having no dad isn't a hazard.

I'm fine the way I am. A human. Are you?
