Beauty

Beauty fades But beauty is the first thing people notice Beauty is privilege One who possesses beauty is privileged To be beautiful is to be loved But beauty is also pain Beauty clouds judgement But everyone wants beauty Everyone sees beauty To be beautiful is to be seen All they see in me is beauty They tell me I'm pretty They love me because I'm pretty My beauty My curves That's all they see and want Beauty is beautiful But beauty is pain And beauty fades Oh, all the things we do for beauty? The money we waste on beauty? Even when it fades At least we were beautiful
