because l love you
Because l love you
l let the pain hurt and the anger burn
But l do not turn away
l cannot leave you
Because l love you
l dry my tears with one hand and the other to hug you
for l don't want to let go
because l love you
l give all my trust even when all l get is ridicule
l lose myself to give you a platform to live
even if l know we are headed for doom
l believe in you and stand by
because love tells me one day
on these thorns the roses will grow.
