A BEDRAGGLED SOUL

“The mini version of the devil” exclaimed that aficionado! Clapping heartlessly at my diminished aura! Slapping my dignity out till it faded no more. But the universe listens to stubborn souls, isn’t it? So why not mine? Isn’t it attracted to your expensive oracles anymore? Am I not the victim to be enlivened by the gods of purity? Or I am sickened with notorious effect? My questions have no response, they are obviously dumbfounded by loud silence. I am cursed, yes I know. I am enfeebled, yes I do know about that too. But what I am not unaware of, is my bright destiny. I know every crust of that! So why should I be the bone of contention of a celebration of an obvious mediocrity? Is there any artillery to be directed? Or any ice to be broken? Is there any purification to be necessitated? Or a sacrifice to be prioritized? Answer me, dear narcissists! But the status quo, slaps me no more! A new atmosphere to embrace me harshly. A call that pampers my tears out! A tear that teases to come out no more. A teasing call that reminisces joy no more. A joy, that brings a new era forever. My caveat has been solely directed. Directed to reflect a fresh genre of pedigree. I sit on the left hand side of the Charles that is praised to be the prince. The prince of a locality not familiar to my naivety. But I have been embellished with sophistication. Enough to make me a better version of myself. Oh my days! Oh mother nature! I know nothing. I know no evil. I know no devil. But I used to be the devil myself. But now, “the mini version of a holy cognomen”. Washed with witty purity.

This is one of the most enlivening poems of my life. In the part of the world in which I find myself, we see the celebration of mediocrity as a festival! But being at the extreme end of this, I got traumatized upon being victimized, and this propels me to write something that explains some people's story.
