Behind the Lens

Location

Without a care in the world I stare at the lens in front of me,what has become me

Behind the lens you will find the real me, not the one I appear to be

It's inside out, without a twist of doubt whats becoming of me, you see

I fear the soceity that lies in front of me, those murdered without being hear of

The innocent lives, leaving families to provide

ropes around throats all of their hurt inside, leaving the world to cry

There are broken families, there are people smoking weed

All trying to find the will to survie in this soceity

I hurt and yearn for peace in harmony to reunite the world we see

I lay awake and pray for those lost to fate that pulls

I proceed to smile for a while, behind the lens that help me pretend to be what the world wants to see

only it is not me....
