Better Days

High school was my hell

I never knew it would break me so well

I did more than scrape my knees when I fell

I hit rock bottom

I know that if I can only chnage my ways

the ways of seeing myself

that I will have better days

I will learn to love myself

I will no longer

wonder awake at night

debating what to do with my life

I will see a brighter future

I will fight.
