Blind to the Struggle

You keep teaching math, science, and language
But can't you see my preoccupation?
I cannot survive this daily struggle much longer.
When I come to your class,
I have to suffer through the torment,
Students mocking me and taunting me.
Can't you see the problem I'm facing?
Of a desire to learn, but I'm too scared.
If I come to school, I'll be abused.
Can't you do something about this?
Can't you see the tear stains on my face?
Stop the bullying, then teach,
I guarantee it'll turn out better
