A Broken Child

I am lonely and a broken child,

Grew up around actions that are mild,

My last birthday was when I last smiled,

As I was not an only grandchild,

Throughout my life span I've been filled with hate,

To the extent where I couldn't think straight,

Could no longer believe in love or fate,

Because I knew that I'm not all that great,

I tell everyone else that I'm alright,

Except for me because I'm in a fright,

As I continue to walk in the night,

I then began to start up a big fight,

I show my rejections through my actions,

After that no longer feel satisfaction,

The guilt inside shows just a small fraction,

To where I care less of their reactions,

Throughout my life I've always been bruised,

But this is the time where I start to refuse,

To allow myself to be once again used,

And to not be a victim of abuse.
