Bully

reading, writing, 'rithmatic

erasers, pencils, pens that click

spelling, counting, ABC

thinking, feeling, 123

building, growing, anxiety

glances, judging, piercing stares

whispers, giggles, empty chairs

bully, teasing, name calling

distracted, crying, grades falling

same old story every year

same old kids, same old fear

do I really have to go?

ask to stay home, mom says no

reading, writing, 'rithmatic

so much fear, it makes me sick.
