The Bully
A bully is someone who uses
Insults, violence, fear, or manipulation
To get what the bully wants
Or just to put down those around them.
Whether it's a punch in the face, a threat here and there,
or calling you ugly and useless,
A bully doesn't want to see your head held high.
As I was getting ready in the morning,
I thought “I look awful, I hate my skin,
I should sleep more often, I wish I could trade that flab for some abs,
Why did I sleep so late? Why did I procrastinate?
Why am I so lazy? Why can't I be productive?”
I stopped right there, as I stood there
And realized that I
Put myself down all the time
And I didn't have my head held high.
I am my own bully.
