Bullying

As tears run down my face Eyes open wide Laughter haunts my dreams No where to hide. Words cause me pain Isolation is my name People pass me by Without a minute of shame. Home in the dark No where to hide Enemies creeping in Coming along for the ride. Parents not a clue Of the pain deep inside Thinking life is good Not knowing what's inside. Demons in my head Turning day to night Time to put out All the miserable fight. Walking in my room Looking for the answer Nothing to be found It's like a growing cancer. Wishing things were different Not understanding why Life should be sweeter Never wanted to say "goodbye". Lightness all around Colors bright and cheerful Wish my family were here To see I'm no longer tearful. Wrapped in angels wings Looking down below I see the ones who taunted me Standing in a row. The gate is barely open Jesus frowning at the ground Shaking his head from left to right His smile turned upside down. His words were strong and clear As he looked into their eyes And asked them all the question Why? Oh why? Oh why? You never saw the tears You never felt the pain You took an angel from the earth Without any shame. No love, no kindness, no show of remorse Will send you on a journey From which there is no escape And certainly no returning. You veered from the course And caused someone pain You put out their light Took away their rain. So think my children Before you speak For life is too short Not to be kind and sweet.
