Can I Help You

Can I help you? You glare at me everyday Do you hate me that much? You deride me at every turn Did I do something wrong? You continue to belittle me What is wrong? Is there some underlying issue you have with me You ask what is wrong with me I will tell you I never wronged you I never trash talked you I was never anything but your friend I was never anything but nice What changed? So, can I help you? Is there something you need? A hug, a friend, someone to talk to? I am here for you Even if you aren't there for me
