Careless Weapon

Wood in hand,

Graphite point,

Ready and waiting.

Scratches on paper,

Gray smears,

Ready for reading.

Tears on cheek,

Page crumbled,

Voiceless hurting.

Careless weapon,

Unheard voice,

People are speaking.
