Changes
We can't change yesterday
And we can't change today.
We can't go back in time
To fix all of our mistakes.
We can't take it back.
No matter how hard we may try.
We can't bring back lives that are lost,
Or heal the scars and broken hearts.
We can't bring voices to the silenced,
Or open the eyes of those who are blind.
We can help those who need it now,
Those who are damaged, but not yet broken.
Because we can't change yesterday,
But we can sure as hell change tomorrow.
