A Compilation of Perfect Imperfections

Flawless

a term of perfection.

A definition of popularity,

often overused.

But to define myself as

Flawless

I address my flaws.

I am

a million voices.

A compilation of perfect imperfections

and fleeting moments

each with its own narrator.

These vivid voices tell the story

of the times I have tried

and yes, failed.

In these failures

are my flaws.

Yet as I look in the mirror

I see only my triumphs

my moments of success

and I think

I could be flawless.

No,

I am.

Because it is living with my tendency

to talk too much,

to be impulsive,

to dislike the way I look,

to put myself down,

to be imperfect,

that teaches me how I am flawless

despite my flaws.

I am living

in a game no one has yet won.

Because I have a tendency

to be outgoing

to take the initiative

to care enough to be classy

to evaluate choices

to be Flawless.
