Damage

you will never know unless you are in that persons shoes
you will never know how much a single word can pierce though someone's heart and cause so much damage.
just a single word
their hearts are cold.
they don't care, they never will.

i cannot escape ignorance but i try my best to avoid it.
no matter how much i try to run away from it, those words of theirs come flying off their tongues.
and stabbing my heart leaving me with nothing else but the thoughts of self hatred, pain, tears...
